Michael Paul Thomas (born 1956) is a California attorney and leading civil litigation expert, author, and educator. Thomas is one of the most published legal authors in California. His legal treatises are published by the world's largest legal publisher West (a unit of Thomson Reuters). Thomas received his undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton, in 1981, and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1984.
